Austrian Airlines’ look has been gradually changing since mid-2018. The reason for this is the modernisation of the brand design. Now
- the mobile boarding pass
- the home-printed boarding pass
- the app boarding pass and
- the Apple Wallet version
all appear in the new brand design and, as part of the relaunch, they are being adapted to today’s needs. The focus of this change is always the customer, and so the new boarding pass feature a clean-cut layout as well as improved clarity and legibility.
Important information such as boarding time, seat number and departure gate are now much larger and even easier for passengers to find. The 500,000 or so mobile boarding passes issued each month now show the class in which passengers are travelling by colour. In Economy and Premium Economy Class it’s red, while in Business Class it’s dark blue.
