Automated check-in at Lufthansa

Update 04.05.2017:

The planned activation of the automatic check-in must be postponed for technical reasons. We will inform you at this point as soon as the new date of implementation is established.

 

Many business travellers have calendars that are full to bursting. There’s hardly any spare time between meetings. But with Lufthansa you can now save valuable time.

From now on all trips taking place within the Schengen area will be checked in automatically. Check-in invitations will no longer be sent. You will receive your mobile boarding pass up to about 23 hours before departure, sent to the email address or mobile number in your Miles & More profile. You can of course change the contact details in your profile at any time. In addition, you can still access all self-service functions such as seat changes, homeprint bag tag or check-in cancellation via the Lufthansa app or at lh.com.

In the case of flights that do not operate fully within the Schengen area you will continue to receive the check-in invitation.
