More flights and larger aircraft on the New York Newark–San Juan, Puerto Rico route
Beginning on 18 December 2016 United will extend the connections between the San Juan Luis Muñoz Marín Airport (SJU) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) operating additional wide-body aircraft, and instead of only one flight a week offer altogether six weekly connections. The route is served by a Boeing 777 with 344 seats in Economy Class, Economy Plus and First Class. From Germany, United flies to Newark Airport non-stop departing Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.
